To design a compelling deck is a difficult task. There are many frameworks and guidelines available. For instance, there's the 500 framework, which is heavy on traction (because, honestly, you only need 5 slides if you got impressive traction, and the traction slide is the hero). Then, there's the Founder Institute framework, which is way too broad with over 20 slides – ain't nobody got time for that, nobody who reads 40 decks a day. There's also the Inverse Slide Deck, and so many more approaches, and you'll find various opinions out there as well – some well-informed and others not so much. What's key🔑 to understand is that it's all about telling a narrative, a story, and being convincing in just 40-60 seconds, not minutes.
